One of the 2009 Planning Division tasks is to prepare amendments to various Municipal Code

chapters relating to code enforcement. The purpose of the amendments is to clarify definitions

and procedures and remove redundancies among the chapters.

Notice of a public hearing on

these amendments was published in the

Lamorinda Sun;

however, during preparation of the staff

report and ordinances for the City Council, staff and the attorney's office decided to make some

additional minor changes and are requesting that the City Council postpone the public hearing to

the September 14, 2009 meeting.

RECOMMENDATION

Continue without discussion to September 14, 2009 meeting.
